How To: Easy Peanut Butter Energy Bites
On a quest to find some healthier options that wouldn’t send my RA into a tizzy or be too earthy crunchy for my taste, I stumbled upon a recipe that instantly intrigued me.
Just the Beginning
The very last thing I was expecting to be diagnosed with, much like with any other young person living with this disease, was Rheumatoid Arthritis. At the very young age of seventeen, and after seeing a handful of other specialists, I ended up at the Rheumatologist’s as a last resort and one I expected little outcome from. Then, results came back in and my factors were off. Immediately I was sent into the initially confusing and overwhelming world of RA, and treated for all the symptoms I was having. After it was explained it all made sense; my aching hands, my incredibly frequent sinus infections and fevers, my all-encompassing fatigue, the significant swelling in my knees. It all made sense and I came to realize that I had probably been unknowingly living with Rheumatoid Arthritis for years.
